Monitoring cell volts by CTX-D during charge Print E-mail

Here's a tip of monitoring cells voltages with the CTX-D during charging.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AS INCORRECT OPERATION WILL DAMAGE YOUR EQUIPMENT !

1.Connect your charger to a Power supply.
2.Connect your CTX-D to another separate power supply.
3.Place your battery correctly on the CTX-D
4.Enter into Linear DCH mode. you will see 6 cells voltage.
5.Connect charger to battery then start charge.

You can check each cell's status this way. The CTX-D2 will show you the volts.
Weak cells or damaged cells will show you higher voltage during charge.

You should always connect the CTX-D to a different power supply. otherwise you will damage the CTX-D or the Charger through a short circuit.

The CTX-D does not require a high-amp power supply to run on its own. It consumes about 350mA, so a low amp power supply/AC Adaptor (wired correctly) will work fine.

The MM-CTXPM works great for a second power supply!
