The final 5th round of the Much-More UK North East On Carpet Winter 08/09 series could not have been closer with David Allen, Mike West and Paul Hindson all in with a chance of taking the overall title.

To complicate matters further, Much-More UK TOP Racing Scythe driver, David Allen was unable to make this round which left the door wide open for Mike and Paul to make an impression but Teesside raider and top Nitro driver Peter Watt was there to race too!

Leg 1 and Leg 2 of the A finals saw Peter Watt hold off Paul Hindson and left them taking 1st and 2nd overall for the 5th round.  The result meant Mike West would end up on the same points overall as the non present David Allen so it was Much-More UK TOP Racing Scythe driver, David Allen who took the series win - well done David.

Be part of the superb indoor winter series held at Jarrow School, Tyne and Wear (NE32 5PR).

Much-More Racing UK and North East R/C Racing are pleased to announce the 'Much-More UK North East On Carpet - Spring 2009 series.

The dates are:
15th February 09
8th March 09
22nd March 09
5th April 09
19th April 09 (tbc)

Time: 12-4pm.
Race Format: 3 rounds of qualifying 2 leg finals
Control Tyre: Sweep 32
Classes: 1/10 Touring Car (19T/10.5/Rubber),
Other classes, welcome to run (but not part of the series!)- 1/10 Mini, 1/12 Circuit, GT, F1 etc
Fee: £4 Senior, £2 Junior
Nice large flowing carpet track (approx. 25m x 16m)
