Muchmore UK team driver Olly Jefferies scored a fantastic double win at the Maritime 1:12 BRCA national, driving his Associated R5 Olly qualified second on Saturday behind his team Keith Robertson but went on to take victory in the A final, the result now gives Olly a slim shot at the BRCA Pro Stock title.

The modified national takes place on Sunday and this saw an epic battle in qualifying between Olly and his fellow Muchmore team mate Elliott Harper. Olly and Elliott were well ahead of the field and swapped similar lap times as they battled it out for pole position in the A final, at the end it was Olly that took the front spot for what promised to be a close fought contest.

From the buzzer Olly slammed in some quick laps to try and break away from Elliott, after two minutes Olly held a reasonable gap but then Elliott pushed to try and reduce Olly’s lead and in doing so clipped a track barrier dropping him out of the race. Olly cruised to a comfortable victory which he added to his Saturday win in Pro Stock. With one round to go Olly only needs one more good score and a top three at the final round may be enough, V-Design driver Chris Kerswell is the main driver standing between Olly and the title.
