Muchmore UK sponsored drivers dominated the top positions at round three of the BRCA touring car series at the popular Cotswold track at the weekend scoring a one two three in the super touring class.

In qualifying it was the Schumacher of Colin Price that took FTD ahead of a trio of Muchmore drivers led by Andy Moore who put his Hot Bodies Cyclone second on the grid ahead of the Associated TC5 of Olly Jefferies, Chris Grainger showed great pre race form in testing but could only manage fourth on the grid for A final.

The weather was a major factor in the outcome of the finals; wind and driving rain kept drivers on their toes throughout qualifying and just finishing a round of qualifying or a final was the biggest priority.

Colin Price took leg one of the A final and Chris Grainger took leg two. With the outcome of the meeting still in the balance after two finals everything hung on the third and decisive final. Olly Jefferies led early on but after a minute it started raining, with all drivers on slicks it became a challenge just to stay on the track, Olly took the third A final but it was not enough to stop Chris Grainger taking the overall win with the Hot Bodies of Ben Cosgrove completing the podium.

Other Muchmore UK sponsored drivers faired well with Tom Jefferies finishing 5th in the Pro Stock B final, Gareth Hunt made the long trip down from Scotland, Gareth suffered with technical problems on Saturday but would end up wining the Pro Stock F final.

Following the event Andy, Olly and Chris all headed off for Luxemburg and practise for the forthcoming Euros.
