It was another strong weekend for Muchmore touring car drivers as Olly and Tom Jefferies scored a convincing 1-2 at round two of the LRP Cup. Marston Model Car Club hosts this four round series which is based in the West Midlands.

Driving his Associated TC5 works team driver Olly Jefferies dominated qualifying setting top times in all four rounds of qualifying, after four round Olly held top spot with fellow TC5 pilot Dave Ward second, Tom Jefferies lined up fourth with his TC5.

The two leg finals saw Olly take leg one with Tom third, in leg two Olly repeated his win but Tom went one place better than his first leg score netting second; this gave the Muchmore sponsored pair a 1-2.

Both Olly and Tom will now focus on the DHI in Denmark which takes place straight after Christmas, Olly will be back racing in the five cell class while Tom tackles his first major European meeting contesting the Pro Stock class, both drivers are enjoying a rich vein of form at the moment with Olly quickly getting used to his new mount and getting more and more from the TC5, while Tom is working hard to shake of the tag as “Olly’s brother” and establish himself a driver in his own right.
