While brother Olly was battling it out at the Carpet Wars championship Tom Jefferies was busy scoring one his best results to date at the Chippenham Carpet Thrashnals.
Driving his Muchmore sponsored Associated TC5 Tom held FTD after two rounds of qualifying and then set the quickest time in round three as well, Pro Stock national front runner Rob West was to pip Tom to TQ in the last round and take FTD, but Tom was looking quick and lined up second for the two leg A final. Rob West took the first leg while Tom took leg two, a result that moves Tom up to second in the series. At the Maritime Raceway in Chatham, Toms brother, Olly was once more trading punches with fellow Muchmore driver Elliott Harper. These two were well ahead of the rest of the field as they swapped fastest lap times early on in qualifying. Elliott went on to take FTD, ahead of Olly and Ali Graham in 3rd spot. During the final, Elliott dominated the race and stretched out a 9 sec lead ahead of 2nd placed Ali Graham also running an Xray but unfortunately Elliott sufferred problems when lapping back markers late on in the final. Olly went on to finish 4th, while Elliott was forced to retire but still finished in 3rd place. A superb result at Maritime for Muchmore driver Ali Graham, taking the win with his Xray drive.
