Much-More UK GP Series - Overall Champion Standings Print E-mail

The Much-More UK GP Cup will be awarded at the final round of the GP series at Carlisle on 15th August 2010.

Two trophies will be awarded.  One to the overall PROSTOCK champion and one to the overall MODIFIED champion.

Rules

1) All 3 rounds count towards your points but that does not mean you have to attend all 3 rounds to win the overall series championship as points are calculated on the number of racers you are up against plus you get bonus points for winning a round.

2) The number of racers at a particular meeting determines the number of points available for each individual round, for example, if 50 racers took part in pro-stock at the Stonehaven GP and you won you would be allocated 50 points, 2nd place 49 points, 3rd place 48 points and so on.  The rounds you have participated in to-date are then added together to obtain your final score.

3) Turbo Boost! - After the first two rounds of the series, if you have only attended one of the two rounds and won your round you will be awarded bonus points equivalent to 75% (rounded down to nearest point) of the maximum points available from the class you missed at the other round.

4) Turbo Boost points are only awarded after rounds 1 & 2.  No Turbo Boost points will be awarded relating to the Carlisle meeting.

5) Drivers on equal points after all 3 rounds will have one 5 minute 'race-off' to determine the overall 2010 Series Champion (normal series rules apply)

With the final round at Carlisle on 13th-15th August, the number of entries will determine the number of points available for a maximum score, so all is to play for to determine who will be the 2010 Much-More UK GP Series Champions!
